DNA Activation, Lightbody, Healing music, Visionary art

Sunday, February 5th, 2012

Visionary art is art that purports to transcend the physical world and portray a wider vision of awareness including spiritual or mystical themes, or is based in such experiences. Both trained and self-taught (or outsider) artists have, and continue to create visionary works. Many Visionary artists are actively engaged in spiritual practices, and some have drawn inspiration from psychedelic experiences. Professor at the University is quick to point out the difficulties in describing Visionary art as if it were a discrete genre, since “it is difficult to know where to start and where to stop. Recognized trends have all had their fantastic component, so demarcation is apt to be fuzzy.”
Lightbody when you go deep in meditation you take your conscious awareness down through the different levels of your physical lightbody by transcending consciously through the organs, cells, molecules and atoms, until you reach the level where the fine particles which make up the atoms are constantly changing state from a wave to a particle – from energy to matter – and back again. Lightbody at this level your physical body is in constant communication with your lightbody as information is exchanged through vibration, which produces the various colours of light that can be seen in your aura, as your mood or emotions constantly change. Lightbody as you refine your consciousness further you can take your conscious awareness down through this contact zone between the physical and non-physical and enter the light itself with your awareness. Lightbody once we become conscious of our lightbody, our thoughts, feeling and emotions start to travel at light speed, as we use visualization to picture our dreams and aspirations within the light of the third eye, and beyond into being conscious of our whole lightbody.
DNA Activation the genes encoded on the form of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) contain the hereditary information, a gene is located on a specific position on the chromosome in a nucleus’s cell. DNA Activation will be used to set the pattern of challenge to be overcome during the lifetime. Someone with great intelligence in one lifetime may choose to incarnate with poor intelligence for its own learning in the next lifetime, but the great intelligence are still in the genes they are simply not dominant. DNA Activation now you should know that you have a lot of latent abilities that you don’t use. If you use proper meditation you can explore your probable selves and see what are these latent abilities that you have, it will certainly enrich experience has human being. DNA Activation is an evolutionary process to activate the dormant strands of the DNA Activation. Once the DNA is activated the human being can work with more life force or Chi-energy and therefore has a bigger potential for anything psychic and creativity.

KQAC’S CEO Jack Allen on branding All-Classical Radio

Saturday, February 4th, 2012

OREGON MUSIC NEWS

by James Bash on November 30, 2009

Since July of 2008, Jack Allen has been president and CEO of KQAC 89.9 FM, Portland’s All Classical radio station. Allen is behind the scenes for most of us who listen to KQAC, so I visited the station a week before Thanksgiving to find out more about him and the direction of the All Classical FM.

Tell us a little of your background in radio. Where did you get started?

Allen:I started with an eleven-person radio station in WMRA in Harrisonburg, Virginia, then I went to Minnesota Public Radio with 450 employees and Garrison Keillor walking the halls. I went from there to KMFA, a small market radio station in Austin, Texas. That was a 43rd media market with staff of about 15 people.

KQAC is in the 21st media market and a staff of about 25 people. What I like here is the potency of the team we have at KQAC, when you consider the combined skill-sets of people. On air, just about every single person that I work with is someone I could build a small-market station around – with just that one person.

What is your background with classical music? Do you have a degree in music?

Allen: I’m an aficionado of classical music. I’ve had an interest in classical music going back to my teen years. I did play the cornet in grade school in Virginia. I didn’t go far with that, but I did develop an interest in Renaissance music and I’ve always had an interest in radio.

I’ve done almost everything at a radio station. Here’s an analogy: Back in the ‘70s I worked at a French restaurant and started out washing dishes and learned most of the other jobs in the restaurant, including waiter, maître d’, salad chef, sous chef, and running the kitchen with the head chef. Same thing with radio – I entered through the back door and did a little weekend air shift that was just four hours on Saturdays – then I did everything that I could about engineering, operations, fundraising, announcing, programming, and all that.

What is the budget of a station like KQAC?

Allen: Our budget this year is $2.1 million. We reach 150,000 people a week with a variety of services. A radio station isn’t just a radio station anymore. It’s what we call content platforms: e-mail news blasts, web sites – not just our own –, Facebook page, streaming audio and video – that’s the pre-concert chats with the Oregon Symphony. So we are dealing with multiple-content platforms that serve a vast, unseen audience. It can be a fickle audience, primarily because we are in a niche-condition environment. People go to us for something specific. They know exactly what they want. We have to find ways to engage them and interact with them on an intellectual level so that they can participate in what we are doing through comments and giving suggestions on how we are doing. Then they become loyal, and revenue, of course, follows loyalty.

You have people listening to KQAC all over the world. How many international listeners do you have?

Allen: We know that we have hundreds of listeners using our streams. But we also know that we have around 130,000 visitors to our web site per month.

Holy smokes! That’s impressive!

Allen: Since people can listen and stream any station with a web site out there, it’s really impressive that they choose us over another station.

Google Nexus One Beyond a Phone

Thursday, February 2nd, 2012

The Google Nexus One will be officially on sale in the UK and online. The Nexus One, Google’s latest Android powered endeavour, is sleek, powerful, and is much more than just a phone. The technical community is raving it as quite possibly the closest device to being an “iPhone killer” to date. The Nexus One is actually quite similar to the iPhone in size, with a height of 119 mm and a width of 59.8 mm. With the battery, the phone weighs 130 grams. The screen, which is touch activated, is 3.7 inches diagonally, and has a contrast ratio of 100,000 to 1. The Nexus One is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera, digital zoom, flash, and video capture. The Nexus One has 512 megabytes of flash memory, 512 megabytes of RAM, and an expandable Micro SD port of up to 32 gigabytes.
One of the most impressive aspects of the Google Nexus One is the battery life. With up to 10 hours of talk time, 290 hours of standby time, and up to 20 hours of audio playback time, the Google Nexus One is quite possibly the most efficiently powered phone on the market. It crushes its main competitor, the iPhone in both battery life and visual quality.
More importantly, the Google Nexus One is extremely affordable. With a monthly contract through Vodafone, customers can get their hands on the Google Nexus One. The affordable price of the phone, coupled with VodaFone’s extensive 3G network makes the Google Nexus One, one of the most competitive devices on the market.
Besides its price, speed, and technical specifications, the ability to access the Android Market as well as the ability to run multiple applications makes the Google Nexus One an extremely hot commodity. The Google Nexus One, operating with an average response time of 1 millisecond, runs applications such as Facebook, Photoshop, YouTube, MySpace, Pandora, Google Maps, and Google Voice without any delay. The ability to run multiple applications is something that is not available on the iPhone, and is extremely useful when downloading files while also using functions such as the GPS feature on Google Maps.
Overall, the Google Nexus One is more than just a standard smartphone. Following the release of the phone on Friday, the Google Nexus One will prove to be a formidable adversary for the iPhone because of its affordable price and seamless integration of Android applications.

What Are The Popular Modes Of Piano Instruction In The Twenty First Century

Monday, January 30th, 2012

While the traditional form of piano instruction involves the imparting of private piano lessons or group piano lessons by a piano teacher to his student or students, there are more practical, cost effective and time saving alternatives available in the 21st century that have gained ground very quickly and attained huge popularity among piano enthusiasts.
Instructional software piano lessons beginners and advanced
Instructional software is extremely similar to piano instruction received through DVD. There are hundreds of sites in the internet, which sell various kinds of piano lessons software and piano learning software that can be easily downloaded and purchased and installed into your computer or laptop. Of course, the configurations of both your computer and the software have to match, or it won’t run on your computer. In case you don’t like the course content of the piano learning software, you of course have the option of getting your money back.
If you are opting for online lessons go for piano instruction courses that have loose schedules so that you don’t feel hurried and can learn at your own pace. A piano or an electronic keyboard, which is compatible with MIDI, is absolutely necessary in this case as is a web cam, along with internet access and definitely your computer. You will be able to see your instructor’s instructions and copy the hand movements and finger placements without any hassle.
And the best part is that just like DVD piano instruction and instructional software, online piano lessons are extremely affordable and in some cases the beginners’ lessons are offered free of cost and you have to shell out nominal fees for more advanced learners’ lessons.
The curriculum can be downloaded, there are printable versions available as well as assorted sheet music and you have the option to view video demonstrations. Commitment levels in case of online piano lessons need not be very high and you can revise your lessons as many times as you want and if you get stuck with difficult music pieces, you can take the help of forums and chat and email to solve your doubts and queries.
